How should you assist disabled clients?
Some disabled people might need you to work differently, or to understand how disability has impacted on their legal issue
We can:
- provide you with disability information to help you support your client
- assist you in presenting their legal issues related to disability
- offer legal training around disability in the law
- support the client and their whanau while you represent them
We also offer:
- mentoring and support for disabled lawyers or law students,
- opportunities to provide pro bono assistance to disabled clients in a Community Law setting
- group training sessions on disability issues or specific areas of disability law
